Kokomo area tournament results

Mississinewa Reservoir was the site of the Kokomo Bass Anglers sixth tournament of the summer season. Scott Vollmer ran away from the field in winning first place with his limit of five largemouth bass sporting a combined weight of 11 pounds, five ounces. Wayne Eads reeled in second place with three fish totaling 4 pounds, 14 ounces. Third place and the tourney’s “big bass” trophy went to Brad Bailey with two fish weighing four pounds, six ounces, with his largest topping out at two pounds, 11 ounces.

Eads and Henry Cavazos teamed up to win last Monday evening’s Kokomo Reservoir bass tourney with four fish dropping the electronic scales at 9.20 pounds. Eric and Blake Kinney pulled in second with four bass totaling 8.01 pounds. Chance Taskey and Adam Vancamp snagged third with four fish weighing 7.69 pounds. A fish tipping the scales at 3.56 pounds gave the team of B.J. Butcher and Blaine Pyke the tourney’s “big bass” honor.

Mike Nolder and Mike Nolder Jr. swept last Tuesday’s Delphi-Delco team bass tourney, held on Mississinewa Reservoir, with three fish totaling seven pounds, seven ounces. They also received the contest’s “big bass” trophy after weighing in a two pound, 13 ounce fish. Bob Rose and Wayne Nolder grabbed second with two fish topping out at four pounds, two ounces.
